Walk through 200 years of history and become a privileged witness to the birth of Acadia in New Brunswick!
The Village historique acadien is a tourist complex consisting of a 2.2 km trail lined with some 40 historic buildings, all animated by costumed, bilingual (English and French) interpreters, who present the daily life of the Acadians from 1770 to 1949.
More than just an open-air museum, the Village offers a wide range of experiences, including a hotel located in the heart of its historic site, a restaurant whose menu is entirely dedicated to traditional Acadian dishes, two boutiques, plus cultural activities and entertainment presented daily from June to September.
