Located in the center of the North Shore and in the heart of the cultural life of Sept-Îles, the Musée régional de la Côte-Nord is a museum of history and archaeology dedicated to the conservation, study and development of
regional heritage.

The mission of the Musée régional de la Côte-Nord is to protect, conserve, study, disseminate and enhance the North Shore's heritage in the fields of ethnohistory, archaeology and the natural sciences.

It also acts as a visual arts presenter, providing a showcase for North Shore artists and as a resource museum for other organizations on the North Shore.
