Les Bonyeuses / Boulange, café & terroir / Baie-Saint-Paul

Les Bonyeuses was born on June 20, 2022, but the two co-owners Meggie Tremblay Pilote and Emma Kastanis, also married since 2017, have been operating the Baie-Saint-Paul bakery, formerly À Chacun Son Pain, for more than 5 years. They acquired the Beaupré branch in May 2022. A change of name was necessary in order to be closer to their values and the Charlevoix and Côte-de-Beaupré region. We now have two locations to serve you: Beaupré and Baie-Saint-Paul.

The mission of Les Bonyeuses is: to treat you to our terroir with freshness, variety, and pleasure! It is also to offer local and tourist customers high-quality artisanal bakery products from local and eco-responsible agriculture, pizzas, fair trade coffees, healthy and balanced meals (soup, sandwiches, salads) prepared with local products, and a boutique of local products and crafts. It is to make accessible the gastronomic terroir by engaging with local food producers. Cultivating happiness through freedom of expression and creation, through madness, through the pleasure of sharing and for the love of our community, and of eating well!

Being a Bonyeuse means welcoming customers as if they were at home! You feel at home, you stay for a long time, you don't see the time passing and you always want to come back! The service is human, unpretentious, and professional. We know our customers' habits, we call them by their name and they really appreciate it. You feel the energy of the place, you feel the warm welcome of our team and you feel like you're at the right address. We leave an indelible and unique impression on the people who come in and get to know us!

Our community is important to us! We are actively involved in many non-profit organizations such as the Community Centers, the Suicide Prevention Center, Tablée 138, Vision of Hope, and Sobriety, to name a few. We are also involved in sports, music, culture, and many others! Les Broyeuses is not only a bakery, but also a great community that we can count on!

At our place, it's the local artisans and producers who are in the spotlight! In our local boutique as well as in our lunch and bakery counters. We are also essential: a bakery in a city is a lung for the population and has been for centuries! A meeting point, a place to exchange ideas, and a place of love for the community!
