Auberge du Château Bahia

The Château Bahia Inn, now open year-round, is located in Pointe-à-la-Garde, in the Baie des Chaleurs, on the south coast of the Gaspé Peninsula. Entirely built by Jean Roussy and his father over a period of 18 years, Château Bahia is located 500 meters from Route 132, in one of the most beautiful forests of the Gaspé, with a spectacular view of the bay. It has 26 rooms including a large banquet hall, 4 towers and 7 turrets. The castle offers rooms for rent.
In July 2021, two long-time friends, Dany Torchy and Mickaël Retailleau, accompanied by their respective families, took over the reins of this magnificent project, seeing the full potential of the premises. The amazed eyes of the little (and big) children are a source of motivation.
Work has been undertaken to bring the interior of the castle up to date.
The new owners are focusing on developing activities in the fields of arts and culture in this place of meeting and sharing.
