Boulangerie Le Farinographe

Originally from Mont-Joli, Rémi Bélanger has always worked in the food industry, with a strong interest in organic food, which led him to operate a small organic market garden farm in St-Octave-de-Métis in the 1980s, before returning to school in the 1990s.

One thing leading to another, with the desire to come back to the fold after fifteen years in teaching and the desire to start a new entrepreneurial project, he wanted to sound out the interest for the arrival of a new artisanal bakery in Rimouski. At the same time, the Coop Alina was thinking of expanding its fresh produce section and was showing great interest in including a bakery service. The stars couldn't be better aligned for the start-up of Le Farinographe Bakery.
