Polyclinique Isabelle-sur-Mer

Located in Bas-Caraquet, the Polyclinique Isabelle-sur-Mer offers a variety of healthcare services to the local population. A total of seven doctors, a psychologist, and a nurse, along with five medical secretaries, work here to provide quality patient care.

Built on the former site of the old convent of the Filles de Marie-de-l'Assomption congregation, the Polyclinique Isabelle-sur-Mer officially opened in April 2011. Replacing the former St-Paul medical clinic, which had been located at the village's town hall since 2007, the lack of space coupled with an increased demand for a few doctors interested in joining the team motivated Dr. Blanchard, Dr. Pelletier, and Dr. Robichaud to join forces for the $1.2 million project.

The polyclinic's mission is to improve access to health care in rural areas by bringing together several professionals, thereby allowing several new family physicians to take charge of a clientele in search of a doctor. We offer medical consultation services by appointment, as well as a sporadic weekly clinic, nursing services, and psychological services.
