On the site of a 350-million-year-old volcano, the two open-air quarries are full of magnificent geodes of all sizes. Once cut in half, the stones present cavities lined with crystals and minerals such as agate, jasper, carnelian, quartz of all colors (amethyst, citrine, etc.).
Geodes are stones with a secret: at first glance, they don't seem to contain anything good, but when cut in half they reveal their splendor. The same minerals, when they go from their liquid to solid form, give us such varied shapes and colors that it is always impossible to predict what will be found in them.
Even when agates are formed together, their characteristics are different to the point that by cutting a slice of the geode a few millimeters from the first, different shapes can be seen.
