Francis Scarpaleggia (born June 6, 1957 in Montreal) is a Canadian politician. He is a member of the Liberal Party of Canada and the Member of Parliament for Lac-Saint-Louis1, on the West Island of Montreal, Quebec.

He was first elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 2004 federal election and re-elected in 2006, 2008, 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2021. He is Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development, and has previously served on various House of Commons committees, including the Standing Committee on Public Safety, the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage, the Standing Committee on Transport, and the Committee on Government Operations and Estimates.

He also served as Chair of the House of Commons Special Committee on Electoral Reform, created following a Liberal commitment to electoral reform in 2015. From 2011 to 2021, he was Chair of the National Liberal Caucus, an eventful period in Canadian politics during which the Liberal Party of Canada went from being a third party in the House of Commons (second opposition party) to forming the government in a single election cycle, under the leadership of Justin Trudeau.
